Job summary

Evolution Recruitment Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking a Performance QA Engineer to drive end-to-end performance testing for enterprise web apps. You will develop scripts, build frameworks, and coordinate with product, engineering, and infra teams to ensure release readiness.

The role requires hands-on automation across UI and API tests, strong SQL data validation, and experience with JIRA for defect tracking. Collaboration across Agile teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Software QA experience with performance engineering for enterprise web apps.
• Hands-on test automation experience and building frameworks from scratch.
• Strong experience with JMeter, Gatling, k6 or equivalent performance tools.
• UI automation using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress; API test automation.
• Experience with profiling and bottleneck analysis across app, DB, and infra.
• Advanced SQL skills for data validation and backend checks.
• Proficiency with JIRA for test management and defect tracking.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop performance test scripts and load profiles for benchmarks and stress tests.
• Execute performance testing to establish baselines and validate targets.
• Collaborate with engineering and infra to analyse results and optimise performance.
• Provision and manage performance testing environments across cycles.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks, UI and API tests.
• Execute system, integration, and regression testing per Test Lead's standards.
• Review artefacts against user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Use AI tools to generate test scenarios and validate outputs.
• Maintain test cases, execution records, and defects in JIRA.
• Present results and risks to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product and testing teams for cross-coverage.
