Job summary

Prudential plc in Singapore seeks a Financial Reporting Associate to deliver accurate IFRS financial statements and support regulatory reporting. The role reports to the Financial Reporting Lead and collaborates with regional teams to ensure timeliness and compliance.

The ideal candidate has ACCA qualification, a Finance degree, and at least 2 years of experience in financial accounting within the insurance sector. You are detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• ACCA qualification or equivalent professional credentials.
• Degree in Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and IFRS/GAAP.
• Experience in insurance industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Involve in business plan process, IFRS results, and timely submission to regional office.
• Involve in IFRS forecast process on a regular basis.
• Contribute to SCB Phase 3 project, mainly for RBC.
• Assist RBC II Project initiatives.
• Prepare annual reports, review accounting policies, ensure timeliness and accuracy.
• Support ad-hoc regulatory changes and assist new colleagues.

In this role, you will report to Financial Reporting Lead and to provide accurate financial statements of the company and ensure that they are in compliance with the various GAAPs and regulations.

Job Description:

• Involve in business plan process, including preparation and analysis of IFRS results and coordinate the submission to regional office on a timely basis. Involve in IFRS forecast process on regular basis.
• Involve in SCB phase 3 project, mainly for RBC.
• Involve in RBC II Project.
• Preparation of annual reports including review of accounting policies and preparation of financial numbers and ensure timeliness and accuracy of the reports.
• Assist in managing / executing ad-hoc changes in regulatory requirements or current process.
• May provide guidance and support to new colleagues
