This team leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with our business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning, and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Performance and Reward Partner.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Provide leadership and strategic guidance on all Performance & Reward (P&R) matters, including complex and sensitive issues, ensuring alignment with business needs and Group strategy across Singapore, Australia and New Zealand
  • Collaborate with Region and Group P&R to develop commercially beneficial policies and procedures that reflect the financial realities of the business.
  • Offer expert guidance on P&R policies to country senior management, liaising with specialists on complex matters like benefits, executive compensation, and global mobility.
  • Guide country Heads of People and key stakeholders on total reward strategies, implementing remuneration programs that support Group objectives and local business needs.
  • Develop and implement employee benefits strategies, including retirement, health, and welfare initiatives, tailored to market needs.
  • Act as the business voice for P&R activities, providing feedback to improve policies and processes, enhancing customer experience.
  • Lead annual pay reviews for front-line businesses and infrastructure, partnering with regional P&R colleagues to ensure effective deployment of P&R products and services.
  • Foster P&R team development through coaching and mentoring, while maintaining expert knowledge of market trends, regulations, and governance to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Extensive knowledge of financial services compensation, benefits, and performance practices in global organizations, including the legal and regulatory environment for covered markets.
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to engage a diverse stakeholder group, including senior-level employees.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to apply critical analysis and judgment when reviewing activities.
  • Proven track record of successful implementation of complex specialist initiatives.
  • Leadership and team/project management capabilities, including a history of managing virtual teams to achieve optimum results.
  • Ability to influence greater team communication, collaboration, and connectivity.
