A new opportunity has arisen to join the Lockton HR team as People & Culture Transformation Lead - Asia.

The Lead is responsible for continuous improvement initiatives in Asia. They will create and maintain the standard operating procedures, including the process and framework for keeping them current. The Lead will be continuously looking for opportunities for improvement by partnering with various HR team members within and outside the HR Operations team.

The Lead is the Regional point person for investigating the root cause of data or service quality issues, tracking system issues, defects or enhancement request and remediation.

This role will also own the framework and processes that support the updating and maintenance of all HR content including knowledge library, policies and processes, and the portals and platforms where they reside.

The Lead will engage all SMEs and work with the HR Operations team on process and policy changes ready for implementation.

The role would suit candidates who have existing experience of HR Operations including managing processes and managing transformation projects. It’s important that you are accustomed to working in a larger sized company and have experience dealing with internal stakeholders as well as a passion for continuous improvement and driving change.

  • Coordinate with the main project team and aligning with wider business initiatives.
  • Creates, executes and maintains all components of the project roadmap for HR Asia Projects, coordinating and steering workstreams, together with third-party vendors & delivery partner(s) where applicable.
  • Manages day-to-day relationships with HR team members and other stakeholders, including engaging with and providing PM oversight for their activities. Manages relationships with senior leaders across the business & client facing stakeholders.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a program and scope and efficiently identifies and resolves scope, timing and cost issues.
  • Supports in the set up and ongoing coordination of internal change management.
  • Ensures project and process documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Where needed, develops and documents best practices, procedures and guidelines to support implementation and training to HR Operations team.
  • Maintains awareness of new system procedures, processes, software capabilities and other technological advances with potential impact to HR Asia.
  • Acts as a mentor for those with less program management experience.
  • Partner with the Regional HR Operations Lead and other HR Leaders to identify areas for improvement and efficiencies. Drive continuous improvement activities and work on projects such as standardise and harmonise Asia templates and processes.
  • Drive process improvement projects to increase service quality and responsiveness.
  • Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed for relevant systems.
  • Oversee HR Operations clean up activities as needed.
  • Support to develop and run various reports, such as headcount, new joiners and leavers, leave records within the organisation.
