Qualifikationen

• Possess at least a Degree in Speech Language Therapy.
• Registration and compliance with the Allied Health Professions Act 2011.

Aufgaben

• Assess and deliver individualized/group speech therapy interventions for children aged 2 to 6 years with diverse speech and language challenges such as Apraxia of Speech, Oro motor difficulties, and Specific Language Impairment
• Conduct group speech therapy sessions for children aged 7 to 14 years focusing on socialization and communication skills
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers by providing detailed updates on children’s progress and home strategies using text, photos, and videos after each session
• Maintain accurate and timely case notes independently following each therapy session
• Build and sustain professional networks with other specialists in pediatric speech therapy to support collaborative care
• Train parents and caregivers on feeding strategies to promote safe mealtime routines and continuity of care at home
• Stay informed on the latest developments and best practices in pediatric speech therapy through proactive learning
• Adhere strictly to the regulations and guidelines set by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
