Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognised institution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about working with intellectual/developmental disabilities (Pediatric).

Responsibilities

• Assess hand function, oral motor, visual motor and perceptual skills in educational settings.
• Review referrals for occupational therapy intervention.
• Gather data via formal and informal assessments including interviews and observations.
• Provide individual or group OT sessions to improve functional performance.
• Select activities matched to student skills and interests to ensure success.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and update records regularly.
• Propose and justify budgets for OT programs.
• Liaise with other professionals in the rehabilitative process.
