Job summary

An international school in Singapore is seeking a Physical Education Teacher to develop lesson plans, coach various sports, and manage transport services. The ideal candidate has a Diploma/Degree in Physical Education, strong motivational skills, and at least 3 years of teaching experience in sports coaching.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years or more teaching experience in physical education and sports coaching.
• Experience in managing transport service for international schools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct effective lesson plans for physical education.
• Support school's resources and lead additional subjects.
• Plan and implement PE programs to enhance understanding of health and safety.
• Coach students in Badminton, Basketball, and Soccer.
• Assess and report on student progress in physical development.
• Obtain and maintain sports equipment.
• Conduct after school clubs.
• Coordinate extra-curricular activities.

Responsibilities (Essential):

• To develop and conduct effective lesson plans to teach physical education appropriate for the primary/secondary age group.
• To support school's resources, lead at least one additional subject for the primary and secondary students
• To plan and implement appropriate PE programmes to support and enhance student’s understanding of health, physical exercise, and safety.
• To coach them for Badminton, Basketball and Soccer without need of external coach
• To assess, observe, record and report on student progress in their physicaldevelopment (gross and fine motor skills and coordination), including attending parents’ meetings.
• To obtain and maintain appropriate sports equipment
• To conduct appropriate after school clubs as and if assigned
• To coordinate school's extra-curricular activities
• To participate in any school events as assigned.
• To manage other operations like transport vendor and develop transport routes together with vendor
• To manage school's marketing activities working together with marketing vendor, including developing contents for social media campaigns

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Physical Education or Sports Science
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong motivational skills.
• Possess patience and extensive knowledge of physical fitness, sports, and exercise.
• Expert level skills in Badminton, Basketball and Soccer coaching
