Our client, a Government Statutory Board, is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive payroll/claims executive who is a team player. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll and ad-hoc manual claims accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. This role will also involve providing support for staff enquiries on claims matters and conducting post-payment audits and rectifications on HR claims.
Payroll Processing & Financial Management
- Process monthly payroll for HQ staff and subsidiaries, including sending out payslips to leavers
- Manage the full payroll cycle, including preparing reports, publishing bank files, payslips, GL and submitting CPF
- Create manual bank files for HQ and Overseas Centres' payroll
- Reconcile payroll GLs and prepare payroll related journal entries where needed
- Prepare and manage secondment billings and payments
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation for Payroll bank accounts
- Manage CPF refunds and yearly pension account top-ups
- Assist in year-end accruals and reports as well as annual tax filing processes
- Assist in tax filing processes and IR21 filing when required
- Compile payroll data for reports and audits as required
- Assist in employees’ payment related verification and reports where needed
Payroll Verification & Reporting
- Assist in tax filing processes and IR21 filing when required

Claims Processing & Checks
- Download payslips for Work Injury Claims and Medical Leave Wages computations
- Respond to employees’ queries on claims matters and assist in claims submission in Workday
- Conduct post-payment audits of HR claims and liaise with system consultants and employees on the rectifications required
System & Process Support
- Assist with system troubleshooting and UAT for Workday enhancements
Other HR Administrative Duties
- Assist in the scheduling of interviews and collation of documents for the interview panel
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource or related field
- 2-4 years of payroll/claims processing experience (For Executive level)
- Knowledge of Singapore payroll regulations, CPF, and tax laws
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Workday or similar HRIS/payroll systems
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
