Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is looking for a Payroll Executive to handle payroll administration within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, at least 4 years of payroll experience, and a strong understanding of local regulations. Responsibilities include managing monthly payroll cycles, ensuring compliance, and maintaining confidential records. This role offers a salary package of up to $5,500 plus performance bonuses.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in managing full-cycle payroll, preferably in construction.
  • Strong understanding of local employment and payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Administer monthly payroll cycles, verifying accuracy and ensuring compliance.
  • Gather and validate payroll-related information from HR and project teams.
  • Ensure payroll is processed within timelines and free of discrepancies.
  • Prepare and issue payslips and payroll reports for management review.
  • Handle statutory contributions, tax submissions, and other payroll filings.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
  • Liaise with internal departments for data accuracy.
  • Support internal and external audits related to payroll.

Our esteemed client in the Construction industry is seeking a Payroll Executive to join their dynamic team.

  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Position: Payroll Executive
  • Location: Central (Nearest MRT: Redhill)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
  • Salary Package: Up to $5,500 + Performance Bonus
Job Responsibilities
  • Administer monthly payroll cycles, verifying accuracy and ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.
  • Gather and validate attendance, overtime, allowance, deduction, and other payroll-related information from HR and project teams.
  • Ensure payroll is processed within tight timelines and free of discrepancies.
  • Prepare and issue payslips, payroll reports, and related summaries for management review.
  • Handle statutory contributions, tax submissions, and other required payroll filings in line with local employment laws.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly, providing clear and timely responses to employee queries.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure data accuracy and efficient handling of payroll matters.
  • Support internal and external audits, annual reconciliations, and compliance checks related to payroll.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in managing full-cycle payroll, preferably from the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of local employment and payroll regulations, statutory reporting, and compliance procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge with any HRIS or payroll software will be an advantage.
