Job summary

A global payments technology provider seeking an experienced Payments Solutions Specialist to support design, implementation, and optimisation of payment systems. The role requires 5 to 8 years of experience in functional analysis and excellent client-facing communication skills. You will bridge business needs and technical execution while keeping up with payment regulations and trends. The position requires on-site presence or travel to clients’ offices.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for an

experienced Payments Solutions

Specialist to support solution

design, implementation, and optimisation across payments systems. This role

bridges the gap between business needs and technical execution, providing

subject matter expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

Act as a functional

expert on payment systems, working with internal teams to interpret client

needs and translate them into clear solution requirements;

Support development

and QA teams to ensure alignment between business rules, system configuration,

and customer expectations;

Provide hands-on

input during testing phases to validate functionality against requirements;

Share industry

knowledge and best practices through documentation, mentoring, and training;

Monitor changes in

payment regulations, standards, and technologies to keep solutions up to date.

Requirements

At least 5 to 8 years of

experience in functional analysis, payments systems, or solution delivery;

Strong understanding of

end-to-end payment flows, systems integration, and regulatory context;

Experience drafting functional

specifications and business requirement documents;

Proficient in SQL and at least

one backend scripting language (e.g. C, PL / SQL, Java, or Unix scripting);

Familiarity with DevOps tools

such as Git and Jenkins is a plus;

Excellent client-facing

communication skills and a proactive approach to delivery.
