The Senior / Patient Service Associate performs both roles of frontline operations and patient assisting.
The Senior / Patient Service Associate handles general enquiries from patients and visitors, performs registration, scheduling of appointments and cashiering services to patients at either Specialist Oncology Clinics (SOCs), Ambulatory Treatment Unit, Radiation Oncology or Oncologic Imaging.
The Senior / Patient Service Associate also traces patients’ documents, provides room assistance to clinical staff during consultations in SOCs or Radiation Oncology.
Greeting patients and handling patients’ enquiries
Registering patient for services and guiding patient to use Self Service Station (SSS)
Scheduling appointments for patients and providing them with relevant information regarding tests and investigations according to policies and procedures
Performing cashiering duties for services rendered to patients
Performing Financial Counselling and assist in facilitating patient’s utilisation of their own and/or family members’ Medisave and/or claim their MediShield Life/Integrated Shield plan for payment
Assisting and chaperoning doctors in consultation rooms
Recording vital signs (height, weight, temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) of patients
Preparing patients for physical examinations and investigations
Diploma / ‘A’ Level / Higher NITEC & NITEC / GCE ‘O’ or ‘N’ Level
No healthcare experience required, as full training will be provided (but will be an added advantage if there is)
Experience in Customer Service would be an added advantage
Able to multi-task under fast-paced environment
