A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is looking for healthcare support staff to provide basic nursing and patient care. Responsibilities include assisting with imaging procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and scheduling. Candidates should have a fresh Higher Nitec, Nitec, or equivalent, and be willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

Job description
Overview

To provide basic nursing and patient care such as assisting in the preparation of patients undergoing procedures and the preparation of the imaging room and/or equipment; assisting radiographer and radiologist during procedures and communicating effectively with the patient and their relatives. To adhere to strict infection control measures and exercise standard precaution and good hand hygiene. To assist PSA in scheduling the imaging procedures and to advise both patients and the public on the necessary procedure preparation. To assist in maintaining the general cleanliness and upkeep of the assigned work area within the imaging facility. To assist in transferring patients to and from the imaging facility.

  • Provide basic nursing and patient care, including assisting in patient preparation for procedures and preparing imaging rooms/equipment; assist radiographers and radiologists during procedures; communicate effectively with patients and relatives.

Qualifications
  • Fresh Higher Nitec / Nitec / GCE N / O / A Level / Equivalent
  • ITE Skills Certificate Health Care (Inpatient) or WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support preferred
  • Able to work on 3 rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays - 5 days work week:

Morning: 0730 - 1630 / 0830 - 1700 / 0900 - 1730

Afternoon: 1200 - 2100

Night: 2100 - 0800
