Job summary

Spruson & Ferguson Asia in Singapore is seeking qualified Patent Attorneys (Trainee to Senior Associate) to join our growing practice. You will partner with renowned client organisations to protect their innovations in Life Sciences, Engineering, and ICT, and build your patent expertise across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities include managing all aspects of patent prosecution, liaising with inventors and corporate clients, and drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications in

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in patents and drafting.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or PhD in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and/or Communications Engineering.
• GDIPIM, Singapore PA registration or equivalent (e.g. UK, US, European).
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the patent prosecution process.
• Liaise with inventors and corporate clients.
• Draft, file and prosecution of patent applications in Singapore, Asia and abroad.
