About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pastry Assistant to join our production team in food manufacturing environment. The role involves assisting in the preparation and production of pastries, desserts, and other baked products, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with food safety standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the production of pastries, doughs, fillings and baked goods according to standard recipes and batch sheets.
- Weigh, measure and mix ingredients using industrial baking equipment.
- Operate and clean mixers, ovens and other pastry production machinery safely.
- Maintain accurate records of production batches and ingredient usage.
- Assist in quality control checks to ensure consistency in taste, texture and appearance.
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygiene and safety guidelines follow at all times.
- Support inventory management and raw material handling.
- Work Hours: Full-time: Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Requirements:
- Basic knowledge or training in bakery/pastry production (diploma or certificate preferred).
- Experience in a commercial bakery or food manufacturing unit is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle production tasks.
- Works well in a team and communicates effectively.
- Preferably seeking candidates who reside in East Singapore.
