Job description

Our client is a global manufacturing company and a market leader in marine industry. It manufactures marine capital equipment that create exceptional long‑term value for their customers. To grow the organization and strengthen its parts and service team our client wants to recruit a:

Parts and Service Sales Executive (based in Singapore)

ORGANISATION:

As a key person in the service team, you will be the first point of contact for the clients for parts and service related enquires and issues. You will proactively provide support to the Client and Service department on an organizational, commercial, and administrative level.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Parts and Service Sales support: Your main responsibility is to handle quotations, inquiries, purchasing, and sales orders related to parts and service projects. Follow up and communicate regularly with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions.

Documentation: Update customer related calls, visits, and part and service sales related activities in company CRM system. e.g. documentation of spare part records, price list from factory, technical drawings, shipping and logistics documents. Maintain all the related documentation and make sure it is updated correctly and is easily accessible to your team.

Administrative support:

  • Parts – handles administrative matters related to parts supply including logistics, certificate, shipments, customs etc. Deal with sub agents and vendors.
  • Service – Handle administrative matters related to customer support sales, including travel preparations, visa, travel arrangements, certification requirements etc.

Relationship management: You will proactively build solid professional relationship with customers, company factory (at head quarter), vendors, and internal department – management, sales, service, and finance team.

Business support: Collaborate with management team and assist in implementing service department goals, provide customer and market intelligence, and make recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure the spare parts stock in the company warehouse is well managed and stocked on time.

Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics/Marine) by qualification.
  • You are self‑motivated to develop your technical knowledge of the company’s systems, products, and services.
  • You are passionate about machinery, have a strong customer support mindset and ability to understand and explore customer needs.
  • You have at least 3 years’ experience working in spare parts sales or service support roles. Experience in the logistics, marine or shipping industry in a MNC is a nice to have.
  • You have good computer skills (particularly MS Office) and a minimum 2 years of experience using ERP software.
  • You possess excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to represent the company with customers, vendors, and other organizations.
  • You are structured, well organized and process oriented. Able to multi‑task, plan, and prioritize your work in an efficient way.
