Job summary

Providence Care Centre in Singapore invites applications for a Part-Time Tutor for Academic Year 2027 to deliver small-group tuition for Primary and/or Secondary students, building learning, confidence and character through structured lessons and mentorship.

The role requires a Polytechnic/Diploma or higher, prior tutoring experience, a passion for teaching and the ability to conduct weekly Saturday sessions across Jan–May and Jul–Oct 2027, with rates of SGD 20–35 per hour depending on class

Qualifications

• Polytechnic/Diploma or higher with strong understanding of taught subjects.
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred to enhance delivery.
• Demonstrated passion for teaching, patience, responsibility and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct small-group tuition for Primary and/or Secondary students according to syllabus.
• Prepare and deliver lessons aligned to school curriculum and student needs.
• Monitor progress and provide timely guidance to improve outcomes.
• Maintain positive classroom management for a conducive learning environment.
• Act as tutor, mentor and role model reflecting PCC values.
