The trainers will deliver both theory and practical sessions aligned with industry standards to equip learners for roles in the Process Industry. Candidates must have relevant certifications and a minimum of 3 years of experience in their technical fields.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in welding, rigging & signaling, or process pipe fitting.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the Process Industry.
  • Ability to conduct training based on WSQ and WSH standards.

Skills

Valid certifications in CSOC/BCSS or OPSOC/OPSS

Job Summary

We are hiring certified professionals as Part-Time Technical Trainers in Rigging & Signaling, Welding, or Process Pipe Fitting. Trainers will conduct theory and practical sessions aligned with WSQ and WSH standards to prepare learners for roles in the Process Industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver structured training sessions (classroom and hands-on) in one or more of the above areas
  • Guide learners through safe, compliant, and industry-relevant practices
  • Conduct assessments and maintain accurate training records
  • Ensure training tools and equipment are safe and operational
  • Provide feedback for continuous course improvement
  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes
Training Areas & Curriculum Overview - Welding
  • Maintain safe working environment and welding equipment
  • Set up welding workstations
  • Perform SMAW and GTAW on mild steel pipes in 6G position
  • Identify and rectify weld defects
  • Inspect welded parts for quality and document repair procedures
  • Apply safe practices and PPE usage
Requirements
  • Valid certifications in CSOC/ BCSS or OPSOC/OPSS are required
  • A valid lifting supervisor certificate is required for Rigging & Signaling trainers
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the relevant technical field in the Process Industry
  • Prior experience in adult education or technical instruction is an advantage
