Job Description
We are seeking for caring and enthusiastic individuals for the role of a part-time Student Care Teacher, to support the growth and development of students in our care program.
Job Scope
- Supervise and guide primary school students (P1 to P6) in the following subjects - English, Chinese, Mathematics & Science and ensure daily completion of school homework or in-house learning materials; customized spelling/ 听 写 revision.
- Conduct in-house core programs and be the role model to the students for good habits and values.
- Activity planning / execution: To improvise lesson plan for effective execution. To assist with planning of holiday/festive programs incorporating a variety of activities including the centre's core and enrichment programs, outdoor activities and recreational programs.
- Communication with Parents: Regular and prompt communication with parents about their child's progress and well-being.
- Safety and Well-being: Ensuring safety and well-being of students at all times when they are under our centre's care.
- Housekeeping and Administrative: Upkeep of premises and ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned by centre manager.
Job Requirements
- Working Hours:
- School Holidays: 9.00am to 2.30pm
- Normal school term: 1.00pm to 6.30pm
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level with preferably experience working in a community-based student care centre.
- Able to guide Primary 1 to 6 school subjects (English, Chinese, Mathematics, and Science).
- Well‑versed in English and Chinese (written and spoken) to guide students with homework, revisions and spelling / 听 写.
- Team‑oriented player.
- Passionate in working with primary school children. Positive disposition, caring, nurturing and loves children.
- Possess excellent work ethics and integrity.
