Job summary

A leading educational support company in Singapore is seeking a Receptionist to handle customer service and administrative tasks. The successful candidate will manage visitor communications, ensure effective delivery management, and support students in need. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good communication skills are essential. Ideal for those with prior experience in a primary school setting.

Qualifications

  • Preferably 3 years of experience in receptionist/customer service.
  • Preferably 1 year of experience working in a primary school setting.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to phone calls, enquiries, and walk-in visitors.
  • Facilitate communication between parents and teachers.
  • Manage incoming deliveries and communications.
  • Attend to unwell/injured pupils in the sick bay.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all school and pupil information.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)

Job description
Working Hours
  • Mondays to Fridays: 8:00am to 2:00pm, inclusive of 30 mins lunch break
  • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (minimally both Word and Excel)
  • Proficient in the use of email communication, particularly with Google Mail (Gmail)
  • Preferably 3 years of experience in receptionist/customer service
  • Preferably 1 year of experience working in a primary school setting
  • Have basic First Aid knowledge
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good customer service skill
  • A team player who works well with other colleagues
Key Responsibilities
1) Reception and Customer Service
  • Respond to phone calls, enquiries and walk-in visitors from school community members (pupils, teachers, school staff) and external parties (parents, vendors, public)
  • Facilitate communication between parents and teachers
2) Goods and Delivery Management
  • Manage incoming deliveries, collections, documents and communications
  • Ensure accurate and timely packing and distribution of items
3) Student Care and Support
  • Attend to unwell/injured pupils in the sick bay and arrange parent pickup
  • Coordinate early dismissal and manage lost and found items
4) Administrative and Record Management
  • Maintain and update data / documents
5) Security and Access Management
  • Coordinate with security personnel on visitor arrivals
  • Manage vendor access
6) General Requirements
  • Maintain confidentiality of all school and pupil information
  • Any other duties as assigned by the School
