Working Hours
- Mondays to Fridays: 8:00am to 2:00pm, inclusive of 30 mins lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (minimally both Word and Excel)
- Proficient in the use of email communication, particularly with Google Mail (Gmail)
- Preferably 3 years of experience in receptionist/customer service
- Preferably 1 year of experience working in a primary school setting
- Have basic First Aid knowledge
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good customer service skill
- A team player who works well with other colleagues
Key Responsibilities
1) Reception and Customer Service
- Respond to phone calls, enquiries and walk-in visitors from school community members (pupils, teachers, school staff) and external parties (parents, vendors, public)
- Facilitate communication between parents and teachers
2) Goods and Delivery Management
- Manage incoming deliveries, collections, documents and communications
- Ensure accurate and timely packing and distribution of items
3) Student Care and Support
- Attend to unwell/injured pupils in the sick bay and arrange parent pickup
- Coordinate early dismissal and manage lost and found items
4) Administrative and Record Management
- Maintain and update data / documents
5) Security and Access Management
- Coordinate with security personnel on visitor arrivals
- Manage vendor access
6) General Requirements
- Maintain confidentiality of all school and pupil information
- Any other duties as assigned by the School
