Work description related to logistics:
- Provide and/or ensure the availability of JCB equipment logistics and commercial documents.
- Process customer orders, arrange shipment and prepare full set of shipping documents per Letter of Credit and Sales Contract requirements.
- Generate shipping documents from SAP system to dealers and ensure its accuracy.
- Work closely with sales to ensure Contract / PO accuracy before entry into system.
- Co-ordinate with factories, product company (division) & 3rd party logistics provider for shipment arrangement and documentation.
- Liaise with various factories to ensure timely delivery of stock and shipments’ details.
- Provide excellent services and response to all customers’ logistics inquiries and requirements to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Handle dealers’ feedbacks on shipment and delivery (ad-hoc).
- Ad-hoc projects / Assignments.
Skill requirements:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years relevant experience; related experience to heavy machinery/construction equipment will be an advantage.
- Well versed in logistics/shipping processes: Bill of ladings, airway bills, invoicing processes, packing list etc.
- A plus point for knowledge on Letter of Credit negotiation and import/export documents; Asia free trade agreements (form E, AI, etc).
- Mature, steady, and able to work independently with a hands-on approach.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with order & inventory management and Microsoft application particularly excel
- Good spoken and written English communication skills
- SAP system knowledge is a must
