Job summary

NTU's Public Policy and Global Affairs Programme invites applications for part-time lecturers to contribute to teaching core courses in the Programme, including Fundamentals of Politics, Politics of Singapore, and Introduction to Public Administration. You will support tutorials, assessments, grading and invigilation, with coordination support from the course team.

A Master’s degree in social sciences is preferred, and prior tutoring/lecturing experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in social sciences; political science specialization is an advantage.
• Some prior tutoring/lecturing experience will be an advantage.
• Able to tutor/lecture during office hours.

Responsibilities

• Attend lectures (to be discussed and agreed with course coordinator).
• Conduct tutorials and assessments for the assigned course.
• Grade course assignments (including tests, quizzes, exam scripts).
• Invigilate the final examination.
• Work closely with the course coordinator to handle students' queries on course related matter.
