Job summary

Republic Polytechnic invites experienced industry practitioners to join the Diploma in Events & Project Management (DEPM) as Associate Lecturers. You will bring current industry practices, trends and real-world insights into the classroom.

The role involves teaching PET/CET learners, delivering lessons and facilitating discussions, plus assessing performance, maintaining records and supporting curriculum development on a part-time basis.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Events Management, Hospitality, Tourism, Business, Marketing, Communications, Project Management or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage youths and adult learners.
• Willingness to teach weekday, evenings and/or weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, workshops and learning activities based on curriculum materials.
• Facilitate classroom discussions, projects and experiential learning.
• Assess learners and provide feedback on assignments and projects.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and assessment outcomes.
• Support curriculum development and moderation when required.
