Overview

Reports To: HR Director APAC

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Specialist to support our Singapore and Malaysia operations. This part-time role is ideal for candidates with strong knowledge of local employment regulations and hands-on experience in HR operations. The role will involve both strategic and administrative responsibilities, with flexibility in working hours.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, liaise with hiring managers, and manage candidate communications.
  • Conduct initial remote interviews and candidate screening.
  • Support onboarding processes and documentation for new hires.
  • Administer monthly CPF submissions, IRAS filings, and employment pass applications via MOM portals.
  • Manage government claims (e.g., childcare, parental leave, reservist leave) through relevant portals (Pro-Family, NS Portal, SkillsFuture).
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems (e.g., GPS, payroll software).
  • Reconcile payroll entries with general ledger postings.
  • Assist in drafting and updating employee handbooks and HR policies to align with ESG principles.
  • Provide support for HR-related reporting and compliance documentation.
Requirements
  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (due to SingPass access requirements).
  • Diploma or higher in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Familiarity with Singapore employment laws and MOM regulations.
  • Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with SuccessFactor or similar HR platforms.
  • Knowledge of payroll software and reconciliation processes.
  • Exposure to M&A HR integration and commission payout workflows.
