Job summary
A childcare centre in Singapore seeks staff for food preparation. Responsibilities include preparing meals for children and teachers, maintaining hygiene standards, and coordinating ingredient orders. Responsibilities
- Prepare lunch for the children and teachers in the centre as required.
- Prepare food and snacks for events as required.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness during food preparation.
- Clean cooking area thoroughly and wash dishes.
- Prepare and clean dining area before and after mealtimes.
- Coordinate with principal/admin for ingredient ordering.
- Perform ad-hoc work duties as required.
Job Description
- To prepare lunch for the children and teachers in the centre, as required.
- To prepare food and snacks occasionally for training, meet‑the‑parent sessions, or school events, as required, as part of the operations of the centre.
- To maintain the required standards of hygiene and cleanliness during the daily preparation of food at the centre.
- Clean cooking area thoroughly, kitchen floor and equipment
- Wash dishes, bowls, utensils and cooking equipment after use
- Clean tables, chairs and shelves at dining area before start of the day
- Prepare dining area for mealtimes and clean up dining area and pack away cutlery and food at the end of the mealtimes
- Coordinate with principal/admin in the ordering of meats, seafood and food ingredients weekly
- Any other ad‑hoc work duties as & when required
