Job summary

A healthcare recruitment firm in Singapore is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist to provide services to inpatients at a private hospital. The ideal candidate will have a degree in pharmaceutical science and be registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council. Responsibilities include reviewing medication orders and counseling patients. Qualifications

Location: Queenstown
Schedule: Up to 35 hours/week (Friday is a must)
Contract: 2 years contract (convertible to perm) or permanent
Salary: Up to $5,000/month

Job Scope

• Provide clinical pharmacy services to inpatients, ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based medication use.
• Review and verify medication orders to prevent drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
• Participate in ward rounds and collaborate with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals.
• Counsel patients on appropriate medication use, dosage, and side effects.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Support antimicrobial stewardship and medication safety initiatives.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with MOH and hospital policies.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to pharmacy staff or students when required.

Requirements

• Min. Degree in Pharmaceutical Science / related field
• Registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council (SPC).
• Experience in Private Hospital (PHI) setting — inpatient experience preferred.
• Able to commit to part-time hours (Friday required).
