Job summary

A children's toy distribution company is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to manage daily accounting tasks. This role offers flexible hours averaging 3 hours per day and is ideal for organized individuals who can work independently. Responsibilities include maintaining financial records, handling invoices, and preparing Management Accounts. Candidates should have bookkeeping experience and be familiar with Xero and Excel. Occasional onsite meetings in Singapore may be required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in bookkeeping or finance support roles.
  • Knowledge of ERP or Order management systems preferred.
  • Based in Singapore and able to work onsite if required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate daily bookkeeping and financial records.
  • Create Sales Orders and Delivery Orders in ERP system.
  • Handle AP/AR tasks, invoices, and receipts.
  • Prepare monthly Management Accounts for review.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing.
  • Liaise with external auditors and assist with GST-related tasks.

We are a small, friendly, and growing team, and we are looking for someone who can support our finance and operations.

Job Description

We are seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to manage daily accounting tasks and support month-end/year-end financial processes. This role offers flexible hours and is suitable for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate daily bookkeeping and financial records
  • Create Sales Orders and Delivery Orders in our ERP system (knowledge of SiteGiant will be an advantage)
  • Handle AP/AR, invoices, receipts and follow-up
  • Perform monthly bank, credit card, e-commerce and payment gateway reconciliations
  • Assist with expense categorisation and consignment reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly Management Accounts for review
  • Support month-end and year-end closing
  • Liaise with external auditors and prepare audit schedules
  • Assist with GST-related tasks (if needed)
  • Attend occasional onsite sessions for documents or meetings
Requirements
  • Experience in bookkeeping or finance support roles
  • Familiar with Xero and Excel/Google Sheets
  • ERP/Order management experience (SiteGiant advantage)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work independently
  • Based in Singapore with ability to be onsite when needed
Working Arrangement
  • Flexible hours
  • Mostly remote work
  • Average of 3 hours per day, Monday–Friday
  • Workload varies: some days will be less than average, some days may require full-day effort (especially during closing)
