Lil’ Palette is seeking a part-time Art Educator who is fluent in Mandarin to deliver our curriculum to young artists. The role involves teaching within a structured program, with training provided to ensure consistency with our artistic process and philosophy.
The ideal candidate has formal art training and can communicate ideas clearly in Mandarin, with a warm, thoughtful teaching style. Regular weekly classes are expected at our Singapore studio.
Lil’ Palette is looking for a part-time Art Educator to join our teaching team.
We are a process-led children’s art studio working with young artists across different ages and abilities. Our curriculum introduces children to artists, art history, techniques and a wide range of media, while giving them room to develop their own ideas and visual language.
We are looking for someone who is formally trained in art and confident teaching in Mandarin (effectively bilingual a plus), and who can learn and deliver our existing curriculum with thoughtfulness, warmth and a strong understanding of artistic process.
This is a part-time teaching position, with the possibility of taking on regular weekly classes.
Teachers will be trained in Lil’ Palette’s curriculum and teaching approach. We are especially interested in someone who could eventually take ownership of our Mandarin-led art classes/programmes while maintaining the same curriculum standards and philosophy as the rest of the studio.
We’d love to hear from artists and educators who believe children can be taught strong artistic foundations without taking away their individuality.
