About The Role

This is an opportunity with a global commodities trading firm, and they are looking for a dedicated paralegal to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who likes challenges and wants to grow their career in a fast-paced team in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• You will be tasked to a range of legal tasks under oversight by the counsels. This includes key duties such as conducting legal researches, drafting and/or reviewing various contracts such as NDAs and RFPs, maintaining databases for compliance processes, supporting our attorneys in document retention policies and procedures, regulatory requests, and other tasks as assigned.
• You will also be exposed to various corporate governance duties such as filing of annual returns and assist in AGMs and Board Meetings for the APAC entities.

Requirements

Ideally, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least 4 years of experience gained in the legal environment. Familiarity with Microsoft and good project management experience will be highly regarded. You have good command of written and spoken English, you are also well-versed with legal jargons and lingo to work well with partners and lawyers in the team. Someone who is organised, efficient and have high attention to detail and accuracy is preferred as well.
