Job summary

Responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting correspondence and legal documents, filing court documents, and coordinating client matters. As a Paralegal / Legal Executive, you will assist and provide a range of legal and administrative support to lawyers in the firm. Your job responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting legal research under the supervision of a lawyer
  • Drafting correspondence to other law firms, parties, or the Courts
  • Drafting, proofreading, and/or preparing legal documents such as pleadings, affidavits, bundle of documents, bundle of authorities, etc
  • Filing of court documents and conducting transactions on eLitigation, ICMS, iFAMS, and other electronic filing systems
  • Co-ordinating administrative activities in relation to client matters
Requirements
  • Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and email software
  • Skilled in use of legal research software/services
  • Meticulous in management of deadlines and file administration
