Job summary

A leading technology group in Singapore is seeking an experienced legal professional to provide comprehensive legal support across its operations. You will address a range of commercial and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance and supporting business initiatives. The ideal candidate has over 4 years of experience in commercial law or as in-house counsel, with strong drafting and negotiation skills. Regional exposure in Southeast Asia is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience in commercial law or as in-house counsel, preferably within technology or telecommunications.
  • Regional exposure within Southeast Asia is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on diverse legal areas including corporate, commercial, employment, IP, and data protection laws.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and settlement documents.
  • Assess and manage legal, financial, and risks linked to business decisions.
  • Maintain compliance with local and regional regulations.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, regulators, and external counsel on legal matters.
  • Support business development with legal risk assessments and practical solutions.
  • Stay updated on legal developments across relevant jurisdictions.
