Job summary

A leading legal firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced paralegal to manage NDAs, assist with legal contracts, and support general corporate governance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a law firm or corporate environment, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Japanese proficiency is preferred but not required.

Job description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for NDAs globally, managing initial drafting, follow-up negotiations, and escalation to counsel where appropriate.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of legal contracts and documents as instructed by supervising counsel.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis as required by the legal team.
  • Support general corporate governance and secretarial matters for entities established in Asia Pacific, as needed.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders across the legal and commercial divisions.
  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative and documentation support to the legal team, including assistance with matter management, budget tracking and project liaison or coordination.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Legal, APAC.
Experience:
  • Minimum 4 years of paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with proven ability to manage time, matters, and competing priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a positive contributor to team efforts, showing initiative, follow‑through, and sound judgment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver results within established timelines.
  • Ability to understand and work with complex legal structures across the organization, both domestically and internationally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office and other software applications including SharePoint.
  • Proficiency in Japanese is preferred but not required.
