Job responsibility
- Operate packaging system (bagging machine/granule packing machine/automatic weighing and filling machine), plant equipment and related processes as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comply strictly to safety, quality and environmental guidelines.
- Support and maintain daily silo/packaging/bagging machine operations of granules or pellets, ensuring output targets and production schedule are met.
- Record all relevant data related to packaging operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
- Identify and report any non-conformities in packaging materials to ensure quality standards are met.
- Carry out small batch blending operations, following correct formulation and handling procedures.
- Report all process/equipment/environmental abnormalities, incidents and/or near misses. Participate in further investigation when required.
- Assist in coordination of daily maintenance planning, participate in maintenance activities and shut-down/start-up of sections.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to handle internal movement of packaged/bagged and bulk materials.
- Coordinate and support export processes, ensuring the correct materials are dispatched with accurate documentation.
- Conduct stock-takes and maintain accurate inventory records of both packaged/bagged and bulk materials.
- Perform routine housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
- Any other duties as and when required.
Job requirement
- At least GCE “A/O” levels or ITE Certificate.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing or packaging environment would be an added advantage.
- Familiarization with silo operations/ bagging machine operations/ resin-to-bag workflow/ resin or granule handling would be an added advantage.
- Possessing a forklift license would be an added advantage.
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- Able to work under fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player.
- Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
