A multinational engineering corporation is seeking a Service Engineer in Singapore to lead service projects and manage teams. The ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience in Process Control Automation and expertise in Control Automation products. This role demands a strong customer focus and includes more than 85% travel within the SEA region.
1. Lead service project and supervise a team to carry out site execution and ensure effective and efficient management and implementation of site projects assigned to the group.
2. Manage and implement service assignment in compliance to company standard procedures and process.
3. Prepare service-related reports for customer and internal reporting.
4. Achieve and improve customer satisfaction.
5. Deliver and close Service projects within customer expected schedule and within project budget.
6. Manage and supervise contractors and vendors to achieve project objectives in timely and cost-effective manner.
7. Active change order management and pursue project variation orders to improve profit margin.
8. Performing all the tests as per the FAT procedure on DCS and Excitation system independently.
9. Control and monitor project site execution progress and performance.
10. Perform service operation tasks and duties as assigned by LSS Manager.
11. Support and collaborate with Sales team on project pursuits.
12. Remotely support customers and Service colleagues for DCS or Excitation system troubleshooting.
