Job summary

Unison Consulting is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable OutSystems applications and integrations. You will translate business needs into robust technical solutions, contribute to architecture, and advance CI/CD, testing, and observability across environments.

You will operate OutSystems environments from development to production, diagnose complex issues, and support security and resilience initiatives on AWS/GCC infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 4+ years developing and maintaining OutSystems applications.
• Strong understanding of OutSystems architecture and deployment processes.
• Experience designing secure, scalable OutSystems applications and integrations.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues across the stack.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with modern architecture.
• Working knowledge of C#/.NET and backend services.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and performance tuning.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations.
• Experience provisioning services on AWS/GCC and related infrastructure.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring and incident management.
• Understanding of secure software development and compliance in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain secure, scalable applications and integrations using APIs and SFTP.
• Translate business needs into maintainable technical solutions and improve quality and performance.
• Contribute to architecture, technical design and code reviews.
• Advance CI/CD, automated testing, observability and operational automation.
• Promote secure, maintainable designs, documentation and platform governance.
• Operate OutSystems environments across development, testing and production, including deployments.
• Diagnose and resolve application, workflow, timer, integration and platform issues using logs and metrics.
• Support production incidents and perform root cause analysis and preventive improvements.
• Design and maintain services hosted on AWS/GCC; troubleshoot IIS, Windows Server, and networking.
• Contribute to compliance, hardening, backup, patching and resilience activities.
