Job description
Responsibilities
  • Interact positively and professionally with customers
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the menu and presentation standards for dishes
  • Recommend and suggest orders to customers and up sell whenever possible
  • Keep the stall area clean and organised throughout the day
  • Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including receiving payments, providing change, and processing payments through a point-of-sale system
  • Maintain cash register accuracy and reconcile sales at the end of the shift
  • Ensuring that the handover, closing, and opening procedures are completed in each shift (three shifts in operation, each shift is eight hours: 7am to 3pm, 9am to 5pm, 12pm to 8pm, six‑days work week)
  • Any other ad‑hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Cooking skills, especially in Malay / Indonesian cuisine
  • Possess valid WSQ certificate in Food Safety and Hygiene
  • Basic math skills for cash handling
  • Able to operate digital Point‑of‑Sales system
