Job summary

CANADIAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL PTE LTD is seeking an Outdoor Play and Learning Instructional Assistant to lead engaging outdoor activities and support classroom teachers. You will supervise children, ensure safety, and help create a joyful, hands-on learning environment.

In this role, you will facilitate diverse outdoor activities, monitor daily progress, maintain outdoor spaces and equipment, and communicate with parents and staff about student development and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in supervisory or educational roles.
• Strong understanding of child development principles.
• Knowledge of safety practices, including first aid and CPR where applicable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and assist with activity setup.

Responsibilities

• Activity facilitation: lead outdoor educational and play activities.
• Child supervision and safety: monitor children and apply safety protocols.
• Instruction and support: assist teachers and adapt sessions for needs.
• Learning environment: create inclusive outdoor spaces and manage materials.
• Communication and record-keeping: report progress and incidents to staff.
• Collaboration: support staff in outdoor learning across the curriculum.
