Job summary

UARROW PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Applications Programmer to develop, enhance, test and maintain enterprise applications and database solutions in Singapore.

The role focuses on Oracle SQL/PLSQL development, ETL data integration, batch processing, and production support within banking and financial services environments. Qualifications

• Experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQL development and database programming.
• Hands-on ETL data integration and batch processing experience.
• Proficient in Unix shell scripting and application maintenance.
• Knowledge of banking/financial services risk management or regulatory reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise Oracle SQL, PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers and database objects.
• Design, develop and maintain ETL mappings, data integration workflows and data migration processes.
• Perform application enhancements, debugging, troubleshooting and production support.
• Develop Unix shell scripts and batch scheduling processes to automate data processing.
• Prepare technical design documents, test cases and workflow diagrams, and conduct unit and integration testing.
• Support financial risk management, regulatory reporting and data warehouse applications.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades, releases and production fixes.
• Apply Oracle Database, SQL Server, Informatica, Python, PySpark, Databricks and Apache Spark as project needs.
