Overview

We’re hiring an experienced Oracle Data Engineer to drive innovations in database infrastructure for high-availability applications. If you have hands-on experience with open-source databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL, and are passionate about performance tuning and cloud architecture (especially Oracle and AWS RDS), we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure availability and stability of production databases (including on-call support if needed).
2. Drive database design, schema architecture, and system documentation.
3. Perform SQL tuning, query optimization, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
4. Manage and maintain AWS RDS environments, including backups and patching.
5. Oversee disaster recovery and database restore strategies.
6. Collaborate with engineering teams to enforce best practices in database design and security.

Requirements

• Min. 3 years’ experience as a Database Administrator or Data Engineer
• Proficiency in Oracle or Amazon RDS
• Strong hands-on skills in PL/SQL and performance tuning
• Expertise in monitoring, alerting, and proactive troubleshooting
