Job summary

Owndays Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a customer‑focused optometrist/optical assistant to join our team. You’ll perform refraction and eye examinations, recommend lenses and frames, and deliver professional service in a busy retail environment.

Fresh graduates or pre-registered candidates are welcome. Training will be provided, with a min commitment of two weekdays per week and a structured career progression path with staff benefits including medical coverage and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Optometrist and Optician Board (OOB).
• Fresh graduates or pre-registered candidates welcome.
• Customer-focused with good communication skills; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Perform refraction and eye examinations (8 years old and above).
• Recommend suitable lenses, frames, and optical solutions.
• Conduct contact lens fitting and provide aftercare advice.
• Support dispensing, edging, and adjustments.
• Deliver professional and customer-focused service and assist with daily retail operations.
