Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a fully registered Optometrist to perform eye examinations and provide expert advice to customers. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in optometry and 2-3 years of experience. Must be able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays, in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Optometry.
• Fully registered with Singapore Optometrists & Optician Board (OOB).
• Around 2-3 years of experience as Optometrist.

Responsibilities

• Perform eye examinations using specialized equipment for diagnosis and testing.
• Provide professional advice and solutions to customers.
• Communicate with customers to get detailed case histories.
• Present good knowledge when explaining the features of contact lenses.
• Dispense and manage the inventory of contact lenses, trials, and solutions.
• Maintain patient eye health and purchase records.
• Maintain good condition of equipment and measuring devices.
• Ensure smooth running of daily shop operations.

• Position title: Optometrist [ Fully Registered ]
• Location: Orchard
• Working Days: Days [ Rest day & off day fall on weekdays ]
• Working hours : 11am - 830pm (Monday to Sunday)
• Salary : $3500 - $4200

Responsibilities

• Perform eye examinations using specialized equipment for diagnosis and testing
• Provide professional advices and solutions to customers
• Communicate with customers to get detailed case histories
• Present good knowledge when explaining the feature of the contact lens
• Dispense and manage the inventory of contact lens, trials and solutions
• Maintain patient eye health and purchases records
• Maintain good condition of equipment and measuring devices
• Ensure smooth running of daily shop operations
• Reports to Asst Optom Manager.

Requirement

• Minimum Diploma in Optometry
• Fully registered with Singapore Optometrists & Optician Board (OOB)
• Around 2-3 years of experience as Optometrist
• Able to commit retail hours (11am to 830pm) and work on weekends and public holidays
