Job summary

RAPID RECRUITMENT ASIA PTE. LTD. is recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer to join our client’s medical device manufacturing team in Singapore.

The role focuses on calibration, optical alignment, and final testing of Cytometer systems, contributing to life sciences innovation. You will work on precision sub-assembly, alignment and bench testing of optical and laser modules, ensuring quality through standard procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong fine-motor mechanical aptitude.
• Hands-on component assembly experience is required.
• Familiarity with standard laboratory or optical manufacturing guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build precise optical and laser hardware modules using small component mechanical assembly skills.
• Conduct bench tests on sub-assemblies to verify performance quality.
• Inspect and review assembly work done by others, fixing minor manufacturing defects.
• Keep accurate production logs and follow strict product specifications.
• Identify assembly issues and help recommend workflow or design improvements.
