Optical Transport Network (OTN) Engineer

Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementation and daily operation of the company's global OTN infrastructure.
• Work with service providers to troubleshoot fiber cuts and test new circuits.
• Work with device vendors to troubleshoot device failures and implement new deployment.
• Be a team player and be willing to participate in network globally on call rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years experience in OTN engineering.
• Strong knowledge in optical transportation, OTN solution, architecture, service delivery and operation.
• Hands on experience of major OTN devices, such as Ciena, Nokia, Accelink etc.
• Good troubleshooting skills, able to handle various OTN issues.
• Self-motivated, good communication and written skills.
