Job summary

Advantage Medical Staffing seeks experienced Consultant Ophthalmologists in Singapore with subspecialty focus in Cataract or Glaucoma to join a major tertiary service. The role covers outpatient, surgical, and emergency care within a renowned healthcare network.

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and service development while delivering high-quality ophthalmic care in a world-class clinical setting.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Postgraduate Ophthalmology qualification (e.g., FRCOphth, MMed, American Board of Ophthalmology).
• Recognised advanced specialist training in Ophthalmology.
• Subspecialty expertise in Cataract or Glaucoma.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consultant-level ophthalmic care across clinics and theatres.
• Provide specialist expertise in Cataract or Glaucoma.
• Perform ophthalmic surgical procedures appropriate to subspecialty and experience.
• Participate in on‑call and emergency ophthalmology services.
• Supervise and mentor residents and junior clinicians.
• Contribute to CME, audit, research, and service improvement.
