Job summary

Ideal candidates hold an ITE technical qualification and have at least 2 years of relevant experience in power plant operations. Key Roles And Responsibilities
  • Prepare generating unit activities to come on stream in accordance with real time dispatch schedule.
  • Respond appropriately to system defects, and rectify problems as required.
  • Carry out all Plant operating activities, including isolation, in line with operational guidelines.
  • Carry out all routine Plant tests and periodic auxiliary equipment changeover in accordance with approved procedures and schedules.
  • Schedule, act and document authorities for maintenance work as required.
  • Identify and report defective plant and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date and timely records of all key operational activities.
  • Closely monitor the operational parameters in the DCS, carry out routine checklist, routine test and suggest improvements.
  • Take up the role of Authorized Person (AP) as per the PTW procedure.
  • Successful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) (training will be provided).
Qualifications And Experience
  • Minimum ITE with relevant technical qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in power plant.
