Job Overview

Operations Support Services Technical Officer – responsible for supporting electrical/electronic engineering systems across remote sites, with a focus on marine electronics, command and control, communication, and power systems. Candidates should bring hands‑on experience in system deployment, servicing, troubleshooting and teamwork.

Responsibilities
  1. Attend promptly to ad‑hoc breakdowns and maintenance of systems at remote sites, in line with planned support and procedures.
  2. Perform Duty Technical Officer duties, including checklist verification and maintenance activity reporting.
  3. Assist with the management of maintenance contracts and term contracts – technical specifications, scheduling, and expenditure monitoring.
  4. Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders, including schedule de‑confliction and procurement of spare parts, test equipment and tools.
  5. Maintain up‑to‑date system records, failure data, documentation and compliance requirements.
  6. Support ad‑hoc user requests such as installations, relocations, re‑wiring and modifications of port systems.
  7. Be on standby for urgent jobs around the clock, including weekends and public holidays, responding within two hours if activated.
  8. Assist in system engineering works (feasibility study, proof‑of‑concept, design review) and in project management and coordination.
  9. Participate in site supervision of projects, installation works, testing and commissioning of new systems and equipment.
  10. Perform any other duties delegated in compliance with the Employment Act.

Changi / Pasir Panjang.

Work Hours

Regular 8:30 AM‑6 PM, Monday‑Friday or 12‑hour shift covering 24/7 operation at remote sites.
