Operations Support Services Engineer
About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Support Services Engineer to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our critical engineering systems. This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver with a strong foundation in electrical/electronic systems and a proven track record in technical project leadership. You will be the key technical point of contact, responsible for maintaining system integrity and leading a team to deliver exceptional operational support.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Management & Engineering: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex Electrical and Electronic Engineering systems to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead a technical team, providing guidance, mentorship, and direction to ensure high performance and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Project Management: Utilize strong project management skills to plan and execute system upgrades, new installations, and lifecycle replacement projects from conception to completion, on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary technical liaison for internal and external stakeholders, effectively managing relationships and communicating project status, risks, and resolutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for system and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing and supporting Electrical/Electronic Engineering systems.
  • Proven experience in system engineering and end-to-end project management.
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership and stakeholder management.
Preferred Qualifications (Advantageous)
  • Prior knowledge or experience with marine electronics, command and control, and communications systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
