Overseeing inventory flow: Manage the complete movement of goods into and out of the warehouse.
Ensuring inventory accuracy: Maintain precise stock levels through diligent tracking, comprehensive documentation, and regular reporting.
Optimizing warehouse operations: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, aiming to reduce costs and enhance overall efficiency.
Streamlining layout: Contribute to efforts to optimize warehouse layout and storage methods for maximum space utilization and improved workflow.
Personnel Allocation: Assisting in scheduling and assigning tasks to warehouse and logistics personnel to optimize productivity and ensure adequate staffing for all operations.
Equipment Utilization: Monitoring the efficient use of equipment, ensuring it's deployed effectively and not idle, maximizing its operational value.
Materials Oversight: Managing the stock and proper use of packing materials, protective gear, and other consumables to prevent waste and ensure availability when needed.
Safe operation: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and stacker machines.
Adherence to standards: Ensure all equipment operation strictly adheres to safety standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
Pre-operation checks & maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-operation checks and routine maintenance to ensure equipment is always in safe working order.
Reporting: Promptly report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
Supervising cargo: Oversee the loading and unloading of goods at both the warehouse and project sites, prioritizing proper handling and secure placement.
Monitoring movement: Monitor cargo movement diligently to meet schedules and minimize damage or delays.
Logistics coordination: Coordinate closely with the team for timely and efficient deliveries and collections.
Enforcing protocols: Consistently enforce all safety protocols and operational procedures to the team.
Promoting safety culture: Foster a strong culture of health, safety, and regulatory compliance among the team through daily briefings.
Safety inspections: Conduct regular safety inspections of the warehouse and all work areas.
Pre-move engagement: Engage in initial communication with customers to understand their needs, provide quotes, and schedule moves, clearly communicating these details to the moving team.
On-site liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for customers during moves, providing updates, addressing concerns, and resolving any issues professionally and promptly.
Post-move follow-up: Follow up with customers after the move to ensure satisfaction and address any remaining concerns or claims.
Internal communication: Clearly communicate job details, schedules, and specific customer requirements to the moving team.
Conflict resolution: Mediate any conflicts that may arise between team members or between the team and the customer, ensuring a positive and professional environment.
