1. Operations Management
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily laundry operations (washing, drying, pressing, folding, and packing).
- Monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion and delivery of orders.
- Ensure proper sorting and handling of different fabric types according to washing instructions.
- Maintain quality control by inspecting cleaned items and ensuring they meet required standards.
- Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
2. Staff Supervision & Training
- Supervise laundry workers, machine operators, and other staff members.
- Prepare and manage shift schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels.
- Train employees on standard operating procedures (SOPs), machine handling, and safety guidelines.
- Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews to ensure high productivity.
3. Equipment & Maintenance
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules.
- Report equipment breakdowns and work closely with maintenance teams for repairs.
- Ensure proper usage of detergents, chemicals, and other consumables.
4. Inventory & Resource Management
- Monitor stock levels of detergents, chemicals, packaging materials, and uniforms.
- Coordinate procurement with the purchasing team to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
5. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and hygiene regulations.
- Conduct safety briefings and enforce use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain accurate operational records and reports for management review.
6. Customer Service & Coordination
- Liaise with clients to understand requirements and resolve complaints or special requests.
- Coordinate with logistics for smooth collection and delivery of laundry orders.
- Support management in implementing service improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
