Job summary

A leading hospitality consultancy in Singapore is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of multiple restaurant outlets. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in F&B operations, with strong leadership and communication skills. Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of several restaurant outlets to ensure smooth service and operational efficiency
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, service delivery, and food safety/hygiene compliance
  • Lead manpower planning, staff scheduling, and deployment across outlets
  • Supervise outlets' maintenance, cleanliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Implement SOPs and ensure consistent adherence by outlet teams
  • Review outlet performance, including sales, costs, and P&L results, and recommend improvements
  • Manage budgets, monitor inventory usage, minimise wastage, and optimise cost control
  • Work closely with management to develop operational strategies and achieve business targets
  • Lead, train, mentor, and motivate outlet managers and frontline staff
  • Conduct performance reviews and support staff development and retention
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding of operations team members
  • Serve as the key liaison between outlets and the management team
  • Prepare operational reports and updates for management review
  • Work with Marketing, HR, and Finance on promotions, manpower matters, and cost-tracking initiatives
  • Support menu rollouts, promotions, festive campaigns, and service enhancement initiatives
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and oversee purchasing activities
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in F&B operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or multi-outlet role
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills
  • Proven ability in operations optimisation, cost management, and improving outlet profitability
  • Familiarity with local food safety and hygiene requirements
