About the role
Terminal Operations
- Oversee safe execution of truck, drumming, tank cleaning, and inventory management.
- Lead incident investigations, troubleshooting, and emergency response as Site Main Controller.
- Manage process control, recovery, ship–shore variance, and permit-to-work coordination.
- Support plant turnaround, inspections, and terminal maintenance.
- Drive compliance, discipline, and continuous improvement in operations.
Manpower & Scheduling
- Manage manpower planning, scheduling, and workflow for smooth operations.
- Conduct shift briefings, ensure training completion, and support project commissioning.
- Coordinate contractors and inter-departmental communication.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with SHEQ, VF, ISO, regulatory, safety, and audit requirements.
- Act as PFSO, Work-at-Height supervisor, and PTW approver.
Customer Expectations
- Maintain strong relationships with internal/external customers.
- Handle complaints, reviews, and ensure timely delivery of services.
Training & Supervising
- Train, coach, and develop staff; conduct appraisals and close competency gaps.
- Support ACE program as SME trainer.
- Drive team motivation, talent development, and succession planning.
About you
- 3-5 years of relevant terminal operations experience in similar industry
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Team Coordinator
- At least 3 GCE ‘O’ Level Credits (including a Science subject) / NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology
- Wealth of hands‑on knowledge of terminal operations and in depth site‑specific knowledge
- In depth knowledge of products, equipment and a seasoned SHE expert
- Knowledge of safety, health and environmental regulations
- Ability to manage multiple party communication and operate under stress critical
- Demonstrate supervisory and strong team leadership capabilities critical
- Well verse and ability to manage emergency situation and response
- Well verse in process emergency response
- Demonstrate capabilities in Gas / Petroleum / Petchem operations
